Our method
The child is the hero — not the curriculum.
The Thoughtful Homeschool Method™ starts with a simple observation: parents keep asking "which curriculum is best?" when the more useful question is "which curriculum is best for this child?"
What the method actually does
Every review on this site describes a curriculum through three learner lenses — approach, conditions, and progression — instead of ranking programs in the abstract. That way, when you know your child, you can read a review and immediately see whether the fit is strong, weak, or somewhere in between.
The quiz turns the same three lenses inward, giving you a shared vocabulary to describe your child. From there, matching becomes an alignment exercise — child on one side, curriculum on the other — instead of a popularity contest.
What we won't do
- Rank curricula in a single "best of" order that pretends every family is the same.
- Bury paid partnerships. Affiliate links are disclosed on every page they appear.
- Recommend a program we can't describe against the three lenses.
